As people we do not just exist physically but also emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. Our body systems are both affected by and have effect on these components of our selves. Addressing health from a whole-being perspective optimizes wellness and promotes healing. In addition to being a certified Massage Therapist, and a certified Manual Lymphatic Drainage Therapist, Tasha has been a certified Occupational Therapy clinician since 2014, using evidence-based treatment strategies to support and advance the health of countless individuals throughout the states of Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia as they recover from injury.
Hippocrates stated, "If someone wishes for good health, one must first ask oneself if he is ready to do away with the reasons for his illness. Only then is it possible to help him." If applied to an individual as a whole being, one can argue the concept of good health includes physical health, mental health, emotional health, and spiritual health. What are we willing to do away with for good health in all of these areas? What things, what habits, what mindset, what relationships? And if we find ourselves willing, what are we waiting for?
